Alexandra M. Papp, MD
Comprehensive & Medical Ophthalmology
Dr. Alexandra Papp is a board‑certified comprehensive ophthalmologist with specialized expertise in medical ophthalmology, including dry eye disease, glaucoma management, diabetic eye care, and chronic ocular conditions. She joins The Eye Care Center of Napa Valley while completing her service as a military physician at David Grant Medical Center in Fairfield, California.
Dr. Papp earned her medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and completed her ophthalmology residency training through the United States Air Force in San Antonio, Texas. She also serves as an adjunct professor for the UC Davis Ophthalmology program, where she teaches residents and fellows the fundamentals of refractive surgery. In addition to her medical ophthalmology practice, Dr. Papp has advanced training in cataract surgery, ICLs, and a wide range of surgical and nonsurgical ophthalmic treatments.
Although new to Napa Valley, Dr. Papp has quickly embraced the community. She enjoys gardening, volunteering at Mission Farm to grow produce for the Napa County Food Bank, and learning the art of beekeeping as a member of the Napa County Beekeepers Association. A self‑described foodie, she can often be found experimenting with new ice cream flavors at home.
